What technical preconditions does my computer have to fulfil in order to get access to the ProjectRoom via Java Applet?Java Applet is supported by all Microsoft operating systems (such as 9X, ME, 2000, 2003, XP) that run Microsoft JVM. Please note that access via HTTPS tunnels may require additional specifications. Moreover, the latest JREs are supported by SUN (version V1.3 or later). Irrespective of your operating system every hardware/ OS combination will be supported if a SUN JRE is installed on your system. Conetics suggests running the latest SUN JRE version due to increased speed and enhanced printing options accordingly. Project participants using MAC OS 9/8 will unfortunately not be able to run the latest applet (V8). I access the ProjectRoom using the Java Applet but do not get access to my local hard drives.Running the Java Applet requires the configuration of your local hard drives when you enter the ProjectRoom for the first time.
